In a fisherman’s house near the sea hides a small but precious museum of the sea, nicknamed Uzzareddu, which means a small fishing boat, the name of a small vessel used in the past during tuna fishing. The museum was set up by Mr. Antonio Paradiso, a professional fisherman, who wanted to display tools from his family, linked to fishing. This valuable collection evokes the memory of a life in symbiosis with the sea.
Every first Sunday of the month, as established by the regional department for Cultural Heritage and Sicilian Identity and in line with the provisions of the Ministry of Culture, museums are open, and admission is free.
