Most means of travel chosen by our organization offer accessibility for people with disabilities. By flight: it is possible to request assistance by contacting the airline.
By plane
The airlines that provide flights to Sicily (Trapani, Palermo and Pantelleria) allow you to request assistance for blind passengers, passengers with “visual impairment”, passengers with hearing disabilities, passengers with special dietary needs, such as gluten-free meals (some of the mentioned services might not be offered by all companies).
By train
In the main Sicilian railway stations, services are provided here for passengers with reduced mobility and there are blue rooms for reception.
It is possible to request assistance to get on and off the train with a wheelchair and make reservations in advance by contacting the offices dedicated to accessibility in the station or through the railway website.
By boat/ferry
It is possible to request to the ferry companies that offer connections with Sicily services for people with disabilities for a comfortable ferry trip, such as assistance for wheelchair boarding and dedicated cabins. When booking the ferry to the Egadi islands, you can request services for the boarding/disembarkation of passengers with disabilities and reduced mobility.
We suggest, however, to get in touch directly with the services (public or private) before getting there.

Archaeological Area of Segesta
Accessibility for visitors with reduced mobility is guaranteed with a drive up to the Temple and the theater. All sites have a walkway.

Selinunte Archaeological Park
It is possible to visit the park by using electric trains. Moreover, some areas are reachable by car and the eastern hill is accessible by wheelchair.

In the reserve some avenues are partially accessible by wheelchair; the museum is accessible by wheelchair users as well.
