Fishtuna

This project has four main strands. Art, Tourism, Agri-food and Sustainability. All of the activities are organised around these themes, including the “Convegno sulla sostenibilità ambientale in chiave turistica” (Conference on Environmental Sustainability in a Tourism) by AMP Isole Egadi, cookery shows and taste workshops, readings, nature hikes and bike rides.
In addition to these activities, there are also the fascinating Tales of underwater archaeology and jazz music at sunset in the streets of the town. This rich programme also includes guided tours of the numerous artist residences on the islands, a big barbecue in the square, and numerous live performances and road tours.
A further added value of this cultural event is its low environmental impact, which includes the use of environmentally-friendly consumables and the installation of green waste collection stations, where the waste handed in can be exchanged for branded merchandise or passes for special sections of the event.
The Festival is organised by the association Idimed and the agency TempoReale.
