Sicilia & Spagna: Un Viaggio Tra Cibo, Arte E Cultura
During the seventh edition there will be three days dedicated to a rich programme of meetings, tastings, artistic performances, showcooking, exhibitions and masterclasses, allowing us to create a bridge between tradition and innovation.
Inclusive and dynamic meeting spaces where the key concept is: living together and sharing, giving voice to a multiplicity of creative expressions.
Our aim is to enhance the food and wine and cultural heritage of the two regions, promoting good living and the strong role that Mazara has in Mediterranean history and culture
The real protagonists of the event are the artists, chefs and professionals in the food, wine and cultural sector from both Sicily and Spain. These leaders, together with young talents, associations and professional figures (such as journalists, actors, dancers and chefs), will guide participants on a sensory journey that celebrates traditions and innovations, making each meeting an opportunity to discover, share and grow together.
Program
Mazara del Vallo turns into the beating heart of tradition and innovation. The day begins with an inauguration ceremony in one of the city's historic squares, where local institutions and international guests gather to kick off this extraordinary event. During the inauguration, a symbolic ribbon-cutting ceremony is unveiled and participants have the opportunity to enjoy an inaugural tasting of typical Sicilian and Spanish products, representing the perfect marriage of the two cultures.
The event is enriched with moments of intense creativity and cultural exchange. In a number of exclusive locations, including exhibition spaces and dedicated halls, artistic performances and interactive exhibitions will take place, recounting the history and innovation of the two countries through food and art. At the same time, culinary workshops and guided tastings allow participants to immerse themselves in the secrets of gastronomic tradition, discovering innovative techniques and stories of excellence of local products.
The event culminates in an intense day of discussion and reflection. Roundtables and conferences, hosted in elegant and evocative settings, offer food for discussion on the topics of sustainability, innovation and cultural heritage enhancement. The day ends with a gala dinner, organised in an exceptional location, where the cuisines of Sicily and Spain merge in a sensory journey that celebrates the true spirit of good living and the encounter between tradition and modernity.
