Carnevale Di Paceco
Every year, from the first days of September, the artistic workshop opens for the creation of the floats that will parade in the following edition. 300 people are dedicated to the drafting of the design and then to its realisation. It starts with the iron structures that have to be assembled with welding and wire connections. At the same time, thought is also given to the creation of the electrical system to give light to the various polystyrene characters that then make up the entire float.
Important and significant is the participation of the children and teachers of the ‘Giovanni XXIII’ Comprehensive Institute of Paceco in order to project into the future this great project that manages to involve almost all the families of the town.
In addition to the parade, which in the last edition featured 10 floats and hundreds of masked participants, members of the dance troupe for each float; the Paceco Carnival also gives space to games in the square and activities for children and young people, live concerts and the possibility of tasting renowned gastronomic preparations typical of the carnival period in the dedicated food area.
