Nubia Red Garlic: the Experience starts on 12 June

A unique experience to discover the excellence of Nubia Red Garlic, a Slow Food product grown in Trapani and appreciated all over the world.

A Slow Food Presidium since 2002, Nubia Red Garlic is a flagship of local gastronomy, known and appreciated all over the world for its intense flavour and incredible nutritional properties.

The initiative is an unmissable opportunity not only to participate in the manual harvesting of the new garlic, but to try your hand at the traditional garlic stringing and taste the local gastronomic specialities. Participants will also be able to meet the producers directly and discover the stories, curiosities and cultivation techniques behind this Sicilian treasure.

During the day, you can also visit the farm of the “RossoNubia” Cooperative and the enchanting Oriented Nature Reserve of the Saltworks of Trapani e Paceco by bike ride or in the company of expert WWF guides.

The appointment is for Sunday, 12 June, at the Rosalba Gallo farm in Nubia (Paceco). Except for some paid activities, admission is free with compulsory registration on www.agliorossoexperience.it.
