From April 24 to 27, Bosco Scorace, located in Bruca, a district of the municipality of Buseto Palizzolo, hosts the Scorace Block Fest, the only sport climbing festival that celebrates the passion for bouldering and sport climbing, which have recently become Olympic sports.
This event, sponsored by the Municipality of Buseto Palizzolo, is a must-attend for climbers and enthusiasts of nature and sports. For over ten years, Bosco Scorace, with its stunning sandstone and fairytale-like landscape, has welcomed climbers from all over the world, offering a unique experience immersed in unspoiled nature, surrounded by colors, scents, and beauty. After the great success of 2023, the festival returns with many new features. In addition to the exciting routes on natural boulders, the DOLMENWALL in Bruca’s square offers the opportunity to try climbing in an urban setting. The ASD Scorace Climbing Team has prepared a range of activities for everyone: workshops, games, music, DJ sets, and a climbing tower for adults and children. There will also be thematic film screenings, delicious food, and the legendary Tug-of-War event – Rope Climbers vs. Boulderers, an epic showdown between the two climbing worlds. Furthermore, the festival provides a dedicated camping area, creating the perfect atmosphere for a weekend of sport, fun, and relaxation. Whether you are an experienced climber or a curious beginner, this is the ideal opportunity to discover a new discipline and enjoy a great celebration of sport, nature, and community.
