Museum of the Sea
This museum, which is located near the old port is a place full of stories, sea, people and maritime culture.
Born by the will of the inhabitants of the island and promoted and managed by the Association CSRT “Marettimo, this museum has a vocation of identity and protection of it.
In addition to objects and tools for fishing used in the past, as evidence of life at sea in the past and the hard work involved, there are newspaper articles and evidence of the migration of the inhabitants of the island in the nineteenth and twentieth centuries around the world.
