Church of San Nicolò Regale

Church of San Nicolò Regale Church of San Nicolò Regale
The Norman church dates from the twelfth century: it is a building of great importance for the record of the city’s history and has been well preserved until today.

The plant is square with three apses. It has a low dome on a drum body, typical of the Arab-Norman architecture. A mosaic of the late imperial Roman age has been found under the basement.
